This place is great and I highly recommend. My daughter needed a few baby teeth pulled due to decay, and my kids regular dentist wouldn't do it unless my daughter was under general anesthesia and it was going to cost around $4k, so I consulted with Green Apple and they agreed to pull the teeth using local anesthesia for a price of $500. I was very nervous that it would be a traumatic experience for my daughter but it was SO quick and my daughter didn't feel any pain and she didn't cry, and she recovered very quickly. I'm really impressed with Green Apple and their whole team! I'm switching all my kids to this dentist, even though its 45 minutes away from me, its worth it! They are great!!!

AMAZING. I love the philosophy of this office and Dr.Evy was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and professional. She asked a ton of questions about my son’s latch to assess what was necessary and I felt like I was truly in amazing hands (and I am very good at reading people!) the frenectomy was literally less than a minute and our baby barely fussed after the fact. I already see an improvement in my latch in one day and he shows no discomfort in his mouth. From the very beginning, Dr. Evy has been wonderful; she’s gentle, kind, and so knowledgeable. She’s used treatments like silver nitrate and ozone to help prevent new cavities, and she’s always careful to explain what she’s doing and why. Recently, my son lost his last baby tooth, and Dr. Evy checked the teeth next to the space and was able to catch a small cavity and fill it before the new tooth grew in! I really appreciate how she takes the time to answer all my questions and help me understand how nutrition and overall health affect his teeth. The office staff and hygienists are also awesome. They are always friendly, patient, and great with kids. They make every visit smooth and stress-free. I couldn’t ask for a better dentist for my child. We live more than an hour away, but it's well worth the drive! Highly recommend Dr. Evy and the entire team at Green Apple Pediatric Dentistry!

We went there to have my 6 weeks son evaluated for his trouble nursing. Dr.Evy did a complete exam and is very knowledgeable about many issues that can contribute to a poor latch. She identified tongue tie , and treated it the same day. My son was able to finally latch that day and I’m looking forward to less cleaning of pump equipment. Even if she doesn’t identify a problem she can fix she has many resources for referrals. I highly recommend her.

This is a public service announcement for all the special needs parents out there! This review is way overdue. Dr. Ivy and the dental hygienists at Green Apple are truly amazing, and I’m so thankful we found them. My 9-year-old son is autistic, and minimally verbal, and dental visits haven’t always been easy for us. We’ve had past experiences where hygienists didn’t quite understand how to handle his needs, which made things stressful. But at Green Apple, it’s been a completely different experience. We’ve had two visits now, cleanings and X-rays, and both times I’ve been blown away. The staff is so kind and gentle, and Dr. Ivy has such a calm, patient presence. I really think my son picks up on her energy, and it makes a huge difference. I’m so grateful to have found a dentist who understands and takes the time to make my son feel comfortable. If you’re searching for a great dentist for your child, especially if they have special needs, I can’t recommend Green Apple enough!

Coming to see Dr Evy saved me from having to formula feed my 1 week old daughter. We were having trouble getting a good latch and I was afraid I would need to switch to formula. My lactation consultant referred me to Dr Evy for a lip and tongue revision. The procedure was so quick and I was able to breastfeed my baby right after. My baby didn’t need pain medication as I thought she would. It has been a couple days since the procedure and I already see a major difference in the latch. Thank you Dr Evy, you are a lifesaver!!

Just scanning over the reviews and I can see we are not the only ones who drive from out of town to see Dr. Evy. After having a nightmare experience where we live and told my son needed “all his teeth capped” having done no X-rays… my husband and I were feeling helpless and like we had just watched our son get manhandled, questioning the validity of what we were being told on such an extreme and costly process. As first time parents we were confused if this is what was expected from pediatric dentistry. When my son chipped his tooth, an emergency after hours dentist strongly contradicted what we had been told, and suggested that we get a second opinion to seek out a new pediatric dentist. Seeing this experience at the emergency dentist, how they willingly got xrays from my son and were so kind to him, gave me a sinking feeling that everything about our previous experience was not right. Feeling lack of trust and not wishing my son to be traumatized again, I searched not only for the closest holistic pediatric dentist in Texas but also New Mexico… While there are holistic dentists in NM, none were willing to work with pediatric patients. We were able to get in with Green Apple, 5 hours away. I’ll tell you the trip to Austin is worth it, to see my two year old consensually hop into the dentist chair, open his mouth, and relax watching one of his favorite shows Daniel Tiger. Dr. Evy knows how to work with kids, and parents. I also appreciate that she gives time to practice holistic remedies. Dr. Evy knows her stuff and I am grateful to have holistic dental care tips to take on with our family. Before closing I have to say, pediatric anesthesia team they use is phenomenal. That was one concern of my friend’s who is a nurse, about letting kids get anesthesia just anywhere, what would happen if there were complications. Our entire experience with my son’s dental procedure was amazing. We were told regarding anesthesia that it was as close to being in a hospital regarding equipment and any interventions necessary. My son willingly walked back to his procedure and was feeling back to himself within an hour and a half. If this story doesn’t convince you enough, as someone who’s had to navigate dental scams and miraculously landed in the right place, you can absolutely trust Green Apple.

Dr. Evy was wonderful in helping our daughter get her upper lip tie fixed. She clearly explained the benefits of this procedure and what to expect with recovery. We took our daughter to see Dr. Evy about a second opinion in regard to braces. First, they got us in quickly which was great because we drove from San Antonio, second the staff was great. We had the whole the family so the waiting room was great for the our son while our daughter being examined. After Dr. Evy examined our daughter and she then spent the next 20 minutes having a personal conversation on her thoughts of the examine and her on opinion on braces. She did more than just explain her thoughts, she explained the medical science behind it and why our daughter should get braces and even followed with us a few days later. Dr. Evy and her staff are great and always put the patients first. Highly recommend.

We took our 3 week old here for a lip and tongue tie release. Dr. Evy was so informative, kind, and caring. We felt extremely comfortable having the procedure done here and did it the same day as our consultation. I would recommend this 10 out of 10 times. We immediately had a better experience feeding, she stopped favoring the same side when sleeping, and overall seemed happier.

Hands down, the best pediatric dentist we've ever taken our kids to. We have a great dentist in San Antonio, but when our son had his last cleaning, he had some cavities and one that had gotten so bad and into the nerve, that the tooth needed to be extracted. Our dentist said he'd most likely have to have sedation so he was referred out. She gave me a couple recommendations and I first met with a pediatric dentist, booked the appt, but it wasn't until mid July (it was only mid May). I was a little bummed that it would have to wait because I was worried an infection would develop while waiting. In the meantime, and at the suggestion of a few moms I knew, they recommended Dr. Evy at Green Apple. I made an appt for a consult and once I arrived, I knew this was the place I was looking for. Debbie, at the front, was so friendly and helpful. It's always good to have a friendly face up front! After meeting with Dr. Evy, I knew I could entrust our child with her for this procedure. She is so knowledgeable, very sweet and she was so good with my boy - spoke to him, heard him, and most importantly, heard me and my concerns as a mom/parent. She was very holistic minded, which I greatly appreciated. The procedure was scheduled only a week later so I was thankful for that and ended up canceling with the other dentist he was scheduled to see in July. Upon arrival on the day of the procedure, I got every question answered and got to meet with Dr. Evy's anesthesiologist and her nurse, Matt. They were all so thorough in informing me of what to expect before, during, and after. The procedure was so quick, I didn't even have a chance to worry much! Great experience from beginning to end!!!

My husband and I brought our 2 week old daughter to Dr. Evy and her team for a laser tongue tie surgery 3 days ago and had a phenomenal experience. Our daughter had been having trouble with breast feeding, which had been very challenging. From the front to the back, the entire team was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Evy did a thorough evaluation and explained our options. We went ahead and were able to have the treatment the same day, which was a huge relief. I can not say this enough, Dr Evy is by far one of the greatest dentist. She is patient and explains every move to her patient to keep them at peace. She went above and beyond, with a booked schedule and squeezed us in to remove an abscessed tooth. Sent us home with all the necessities needed to continue care at home. I discovered my daughter had a tongue and lip tie when she was 5 days old, which has been causing excruciating pain during breast feeding. I called and easily scheduled an appointment at Green Apple Pediatric Dentistry. The receptionist was kind and answered all of my many questions. When we brought our daughter to the office for appointment they followed a strict protocol that prevented multiple families from being in the waiting room at the same time. Dr. Guerrero was professional and kind in assessing our daughter and recommending revisions. I could not have asked for more kind, competent and professional treatment for my daughter. They took the extra precautions due to covid 19, taking temps, mask wearing etc. The entire staff was so sweet for my 2 1/2 year olds first time to the dentist.
