Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. We will make every attempt to provide a treatment plan which fits your timetable, budget, and gives your child the best possible care in a prompt manner.
Dental Insurance Information
As a fee-for-service office, payment is due at the time services are provided. We are not in-network with insurance plans, though we work with a limited number on an out-of-network basis. As a courtesy, we may assist with pre-authorizations or claim submissions for certain plans; per insurance language, reimbursement is not guaranteed. Our team is happy to guide you through the process while ensuring your child receives the highest quality, comfortable care.
What to Expect
Because we are an out-of-network, holistic practice, payment is due at the time of service. Here are some facts about insurance:
Out-of-pocket payment is the default. Treatment plans are estimates only; patients are responsible for the full cost of care at the time of the visit.
Pre-authorization is submitted for certain plans. We work with some insurance companies and may be able to submit a pre-authorization request if it is sent far enough in advance of your appointment. When you call for your appointment, our staff will let you know if your plan is one we submit pre-authorizations for.
Reimbursement is between you and your plan. Any payment from your insurance is based on your individual benefits and policy. We are happy to provide a receipt with the treatment codes — and in some cases, a claim form — that you can file directly with your insurance company.
Claim submission. For a small number of insurance plans, we can sometimes file a claim on your behalf as an out-of-network provider. Call our office for details.

No Dental Insurance Plan Pays 100% of Every Procedure
Dental insurance is meant to help patients pay to receive dental care. Many patients think their insurance pays 90%-100% of all dental fees, but this is not true. Most plans only pay between 50%-80% of the average total fee. Depending on the plan, some pay more, and some pay less. The percentage paid is usually determined by money paid for coverage or the type of contract the employer has set up with the insurance company.
