We are a mercury safe office and use fluoride-free dental materials. We are committed to using the most biocompatible materials for your individual needs through biocompatibility testing. We look forward to a partnership with you to help your child sustain daily oral healing and repair as well as thrive in today’s environment for a healthy happy life.

About the doctors

Dr. Maria Evelina Guerrero

Dr. Evy, is a Board Certified pediatric dentist who graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio in 2008 and received her certificate in pediatric dentistry in 2010 from the same institution. She is fully dedicated to her practice furthering her education in holistic dentistry, braces (orthodontics), and airway problems exacerbated by dental malocclusions and underdevelopment.

Dr. Evy has extensive experience with laser frenectomy procedures for newborn babies, children & adolescents. Dr. Evy is excited to introduce holistic dental procedures for her little patients to help their bodies achieve overall health throughout their childhood, adolescence, and ultimately into adulthood. She believes that exposing patients to the most biocompatible materials available is essential during the years of greatest growth and development.

She believes in truthful medically needed dentistry and is committed to provide your child with oral care that is necessary for the appropriate age, stage of development, and extent of decay present. Fluent in English and Spanish but has an interest in other languages as well. Dr. Evy is able to communicate with an extended range of patients and has participated in numerous dental mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and within Texas.

Outside of work, Dr. Evy loves spending time with her husband two children. She is a runner and triathlete. Trail running has become her favorite exercise activity recently. She also enjoys gardening and caring for her chickens. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their baby, flying, discovering new healthy restaurants and food trucks, hiking, traveling, remodeling/construction projects, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. James AdjanDr. James Adjan

Dr. Jim graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2006 and went on to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry, completing a residency at the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, New York in 2010. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a life-long learner, continuing his research and training in the areas of minimally-invasive dentistry, interceptive orthodontics, and addressing the root causes of dental problems through prevention.

Outside of the office, Dr. Jim enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exploring new ideas through reading, listening to stimulating podcasts, learning about body-mind-spirit wellness, practicing meditation, and being outdoors – especially rowing, biking, golfing, and basketball.

About the staff

Mitzy BMitzy B.

Our Green Apple family is pleased to have Mitzy as the lead dental assistant, member of the clinical team. Mitzy brings joy through her cheerfulness and positive personality. Her spontaneity and enthusiasm help children, as well as co-workers, to enjoy our time around her. Mitzy was raised in the gorgeous city of Austin but was originally born in Mexico. Her continuing determination for improvement helped her graduate as a dental assistant from Austin Dental Assisting School. She continues her education in striving to be a Dental Hygienist while working at Green Apple; she also continues to find and learn other areas in the dentistry field. When Mitzy is not working, she enjoys going to concerts, doing outdoor activities, and spending time with her fiancé and chihuahua Avery. Since a young age, she has had a passion for traveling the world. When it comes to sports, there is no doubting Mitzy is a huge New England Patriots fan.

Destiny IDestiny I.

Green Apple Pediatric Dentistry welcomed Destiny as part of the team in May 2021. She loves children and has one of her own. Destiny was born and raised in the gorgeous city of Austin, TX. When she is not working, she enjoys exploring Austin and going to parks with her daughter. She recently completed her dental assistant program but will continue extending her career in dentistry since she has always been fascinated by smiles and teeth; the area driving most of her interest is in orthodontics. Her determination, good attitude, and eagerness to learn is the force behind her day-to-day role as a dental assistant.

Lily A.Lily A.

Lily became part of the Green Apple family in January 2021 as part of the administrative/front office team. With about 4 years of experience as front desk receptionist, she is passionate about helping and talking with people. She was born and raised in Austin, TX; a city she enjoys. Outside of work, she spends time with her family and her Rottweiler Diesel. Besides spoiling her dog, she also enjoys going to congress to shop at small businesses, going to pools, and binge watching her favorite shows on Netflix.

Isabel G.Isabel G.

Green Apple Pediatric Dentistry welcomed Isabel as part of the team in November 2019. Her experience in different fields, leadership, discipline, and passion to help others was a good addition to the Green Apple family. Isabel was born and raised in Mexico and later moved to the US to pursue a career in business. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her two daughters and husband, reading, solving puzzles, and traveling. In the job, ‘improvement’ is her motto.

Amanda M.Amanda M.

As part of the Green Apple family, Amanda Mosley holds an administrative position helping with different important roles assisting our front office to run efficiently. Her love for children is seen daily as she interacts with them. Teamwork is important for her, and she likes to share her persona and knowledge with the team as she embraces the dental world around her. This is her first experience working in a dental office, Amanda has shown that she is up for the challenge of learning new things. Hoping to further her career in dentistry she embraces her surroundings. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her pets.

Cristina A.Cristina A.

Cristina Amador joined Green Apple in 2017 as the HR representative/patient coordinator and shortly after becoming the office manager. She is originally from central Texas, where she graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Human Resources. Cristina lives in the Austin area with her wonderful husband.

Emma C.Emma C.

Emma returned as a Dental Assistant to Green Apple in April 2021, after a three-year break, to take care of her daughters. She was born in Mexico and raised in Austin, TX. After graduating from Del Valle High School in 2016, she pursued and obtained her RDA diploma from a dental assistant program. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her two daughters, husband, and other family members.
